Thursday 6th

We took a short drive to one of the rivers running through Chikusei, there were a few salmon still trying to make there way upstream, it was a very pretty spot, and the ground had a covering of autumn leaves and donguri( acorns)

There was a newish shrine in the area we stopped by

And the view of mt scuba from the river was very pretty

Later, we visited the art museum and the local shrine were we stopped for a quick prayer.

On the Friday I had my first visit to a school, 

We went to Yousei shougakou, a local primary school. The kids were awesome fun, and the principal is a excellent lady.

I won't post any pics of the kids since I don't have parental permission but they were seriously cute
